Welcome to QSMA

The Queensland Self-Management Alliance (QSMA) is the peak body for self-management and self-management support in Queensland.

QSMA is dedicated to promoting the adoption of effective self-management strategies and does this by:

  • undertaking advocacy and policy development in self-management and self-management support
  • disseminating evidence-based education, resources, programs, and tools

  • actively participating in research partnerships

  • engaging with a broad cross-section of stakeholders locally, nationally and internationally.

Whilst the primary focus of QSMA is chronic disease self-management, QSMA is also actively engaged in other areas of self-management, including workforce, early intervention, prevention and e-health.

CDSM Multilingual Resources

Available for Order Now!

The Queensland Self-Management Alliance, in partnership with Queensland Health and the Ethnic Communities Council Queensland, have recently developed extension brochures to the CDSM Community Resouce Kit. These multilingual brochures are generic, non-condition specific chronic disease self-management resources, aimed at Sudanese and Vietnamese communities. The focus of these resources is to raise awareness of self-management, and to expand community understanding about the help-sources available for at-risk chronic disease groups.
